There are 9 bi-sections of trees pictured here so that you can see their rings. Each is distinct, and reflects many aspects of the tree to include age, wellness, type of tree, etc. This symbol reflects the beauty and power of diversity.

About me | about you

Something happens when we sit across from someone who really sees us, hears us, and accepts us unconditionally. The relationship has the power to lift us up, shift our perspective, and bring us comfort and clarity.

I have spent the past forty-plus years of my life stumbling and thriving as a mom, a partner, a sister, a daughter, and a friend.

I have donned a blue polo and peddled VHS videos, served at restaurants, taught English to junior high school girls in Japan, tap danced with Savion Glover, mentored and managed college-aged students, and completed 200+ hours toward yoga teacher training and meditation/self-inquiry practice.

Picture of me, Vicki Pastore. I have red glasses, and I am smiling.

All of my relationships and roles have provided the angles and edges that have sharpened me, shut me down, and, at times, brought me to my knees.

It is with all of my life’s experiences that I approach my work as a mental health counselor. It is with all my heart that I sit with you to hear your story, your pain, your confusion and support the incredible work you are doing to gain the freedom and healing you are seeking.
